Winter is on our doorstep and soon, the CSA shelves at Clover will be filled with giant organic carrots, beautiful starburst radishes, spicy greens, heirloom beans, gorgeous squashes — straight from a Massachusetts farm, and ready for you to turn into cozy soups, tacos, casseroles, pickles, tagines, and anything you can dream up.
That’s right – Winter CSA signups are live – make sure you get your orders in ASAP.
What is a CSA? It stands for community-supported-agriculture, and it’s basically an agreement between you and a farmer. You pay up front for a “share” of the harvest, all season long.
Lucia and Ayr started the program 10 years ago, with help from the legendary Michael Docter of Winter Moon Roots Farm and since then hundreds of you have come into Clover to grab your winter groceries. This year we’re featuring CSAs from Winter Moon Roots, Siena, and Crimson & Clover Farm.
