The stairs are free. We’re waiting to hear back from the building inspector regarding these. The steps (the wood) are 1/2″ higher than is required by the rules. So we’re hoping they will be given a pass. Otherwise we’ll have to tear out this entire stairway and build an entirely new one. Something that hurts our re-use sensibility as well as our budget.
These stairs will be used by customers to access the over-flow seating in the mezzanine.
