5 years ago we started converting every single piece of packaging at Clover to compostable. Back then there weren’t a lot of choices. Now there are a lot more choices and we have a lot more buying power. So we are upgrading everywhere.
We haven’t loved our Platter containers. They’re wasteful, because if a customer wants it for-here they still get a lid. They’re also not transparent. And we love our food to be visible.
Chris found a company called Eco. They make these clear-lidded containers. I like how you can see all the food inside. I think we are going to ask them to make a custom product for us with a divider separating salads from spreads.
