Some of you might have tried this last month when we were asking customers which Intelligentsia coffee to run in our guest slot. Intelly roasts in Chicago. We decided on an Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region.
Coffees from the Yirgacheffe tend to be vibrant, acidic, floral, sort of tea-like. I think this coffee is roasted a bit heavier than we’re used to. It has great depth of flavor, but has a slight bitterness.
